Dollywood

Just last month we set out to visit our good friends Erin and John They were living very close to Dollywood so in Jacob and I’s search to ride all the great coasters, we set out to Dollywood. We learned about the park after watching the Travel Channel’s countdown of the 10 best wooden roller coasters. One of these coasters was Thunderhead at Dollywood. It was such a great coaster and we definitely the best ride at the park. But being from Florida, it was really nice to go to a theme park with short lines and super friendly people. The longest line we were in all day was about 15 minutes with most being a 5 minute wait or less. Now I know some people are going to say bad things about Dollywood, but hey it was fun. I highly recommend it if you’re in TN or near the Smokey Mountains. Plus the drive there was scenic and beautiful as well.

This is Erin and John’s cat Pumpkin. They adopted her from Gainesville Pet Rescue. The oddest thing about her is the way she slept as can be seen from this picture. It looks very uncomfortable. Here she is in all her glory.
