Okay, grab a drink. This post is long! I am finally getting caught up on the blog and could not leave out Kristin & Dave’s wedding. They were married at Haile Plantation Golf and Country club (both the wedding and reception were there). They chose an early start time (hence why all the beginning photos are so sunny), which made for some great natural light reception photos in the gorgeous afternoon golden light. Onto the photos!

So I have to point out that Kristin and Dave wrote their own vows (which I LOVE!) and they were so beautiful. I was even getting teary eyed, and let’s face it who wasn’t. These vows included all that life might throw at them, including Dave’s promise to watch Lifetime movies. That’s hardcore, Dave!

 

 

 

 

So not only did they give us time for photographs before the ceremony, but after too. A couple after my own heart!

Joanna and Matt were married this year at Trinity United Methodist in their beautiful chapel. Their reception followed at Eventfuls Banquet Hall. We loved how these two integrated their cute doggies into both their engagement portraits and wedding portraits. Here are a few images from their wedding day:

James is the most expressive baby I have ever seen. For his 6 month baby plan session, we did on an location natural light session and he was so much fun. I couldn’t help but post the last one…it’s too cute!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

James loves the camera, but he is skipping his 9 month session and doing an extended 1 year birthday session. Check back for that in a few months!

Carissa & Matt also had their engagement photographs at Kanahapa Botanical Gardens. We wondered mostly through the gorgeous bamboo gardens to get these photographs. We have already done their wedding which was at Sweetwater Branch Inn and will be posting that soon as well as her bridal portraits!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You may have noticed this blog hasn’t been updated as much as it usually is. We have tons to blog about we’ve just been shooting and editing so much the blog just fell behind. We are excited to post everything we’ve been doing so hopefully we’ll get the blog all caught up.

Kara & Mike are getting married this August and we had a great session out at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens for their engagement photographs.
